Chez Paris neon sign

Significance 

This modest table-top sign sat inside the window at Chez Paris hairdressing salon at 289 East Hastings. The neon tubes are mounted on top of a small sheet metal can which contain the transformers, making it portable, easy to install, and relatively inexpensive.
