Lion's Gate Bridge cup
Significance
After the Lion’s Gate Bridge was completed in 1938, it instantly became a favourite Vancouver view. Almost immediately, souvenir plates, mugs, and postcards featured views of the Bridge. More recently, the bridge is commemorated in key chains, fridge magnets, and T-shirts. The cup is part of a donation by Peggy Imredy of more than 3500 objects and ephemera associated with Stanley Park.
