Nu-Way pulley clothesline
Significance
Double Service Clothes-line Pulleys Ltd. of Vancouver contributed their Nu-Way model to the plethora of pulley clotheslines on Vancouver back porches. Pulley clotheslines make use of the shape of the standard Vancouver house lot – narrow but deep. Housekeepers could reel in freshly dried laundry without the need to venture into the backyard. This pulley set, brackets, and clotheline tracks are in the original box.
