Patched Jeans
Significance
Hippie-style was an anti-fashion protest. These jeans were brand new Lee “Riders” in 1971 when Ron Kong entered Eric Hamber High school in grade 8. Ron added patches and decorations as the jeans ripped and tore. In grade 10, he added the flares. By the time Ron graduated, his jeans were a Hamber legend.
