Stanley Park photo pack
Significance
This photo pack was produced by the Gowen Sutton Co. Ltd., owned by photographer Frank Gowen. The company was appointed “official photographer” of Stanley Park from 1916. In the early years, its duties included being on hand to take photographs of visitors by the Hollow Tree. Beginning in the 1930s, Frank Gowen operated a kiosk at Prospect Point where he sold souvenir postcards such as these.
