Museum of Vancouver offers a range of fun and educational programs for children, youth, and families.

Our school programs, workshops, and activities for students ranging in age from 5 to 15 connect with the provincial curriculum and provide unforgettable hands-on experiences with historical artefacts, not to mention compelling stories and storytellers. Several of our programs are available in French.

These programs might take you to an archaeological dig pit or an overnight experience with a real Egyptian mummy. You can learn digital animation techniques while exploring historical events like Vancouver’s Great Fire in our Animating History program, or you can build understanding our rich cultural past through the lens of programs on immigration and diversity.

Our weekend family programs range from self-guided scavenger hunts to workshops and activities for families. Check our events calendar regularly for new additions.
